Alright, sailor! You’ve just been put in charge of a ship and it’s time to set sail, but the sea is a dangerous place. This isn’t a pleasure cruise, that’s for sure! You need to watch out for vicious sea monsters, treacherous waves, and of course, other ships. If you can manage to keep your boat sailing the longest, then you’ll be the victor!

That’s the basic idea of Tsuro of the Seas board game. It takes the basic gameplay of the original Tsuro game and adds a few new monkey wrenches into the mix. In Tsuro of the Seas, you’re controlling ships, instead of dragons in the sky. You need to plot a course through the sea by placing tiles that move your ship. You want to avoid crashing into other ships and you want to steer your ship clear from shore. New to the mix are the daikaiju tiles, which take the form of vicious monsters and dangerous waves. Play one of these and the roll of the dice may just decide your fate! If you manage to keep your boat on the board the longest, then you win!
ORIGINAL GAMEPLAY
If you’re already a fan of the original Tsuro, this standalone game is a great upgrade from the original. If you have never played a Tsuro game before, then you can also play this game without the added rules for a simpler gameplay experience.
